Kilometres = miles

I'm sure I've read on this forum that if you use STunlocker to change the wheel circumference setting to a specific figure and change the display from miles to kilometres, the displayed kph readout will equate to mph.

Anyone know what I am talking about or has that last crash done more damage than I realised?

Yes. Change the wheel circumference to be 0.62 of what it really is then change it to show in KM's rather than miles.

The number shown will be the correct speed in MPH even though it's showing KPH.

If you want it to be accurate, you might have to compare it to a GPS speed as you ride and then adjust the size up or down accordingly. Mine showed me doing about 2mph more than I really was - so was cutting out early on the default 25kph limiter.

Thanks Zim, 0.62 is accurate enough for my needs, but might just apply 0.61 to be on the safe side.

It's an app specifically for Shimano motors, so no use for you with your Specialised.
