I was just in Freeborn Bikes in Horsham, and have figured out why no one seems to have any decent stock of Specialized - basically they ordered most of the UK stock!

The have 2018 Levos and Kinevos in a lot of sizes with some serious discounts, also Cube and Da Vinci's.

Well worth checking out if you are in the market, great shop too.

That’s really good! It mentions “loyalty discount price”. Do you know what that means?

Not ur but when i asked them they said thats the price they are selling them at

Just need to sell my 2 analog bikes to fund an ebike now this is a good deal with the 15% discount for trading in any old bike

Arghh.. currently debating levo carbon comp or kenevo!! if this price is still on its making it even harder. Rob - how did you rate the kenevo vs your levo?

Hey mate. The Kenevo is brilliant and I’d be tempted to get one over the Levo if I was buying again. It is a little heavier which changes the handling a small amount but that 180mm travel just sucks everything up. On an EMTB most of the disadvantages of longer travel, slacker bikes is a non issue (uphill performance, peddling efficiency etc) because we have assistance to overcome it all.

Either way, both bikes are excellent and you really can’t go wrong. The Levo is still capable of bike parks, you can get it in carbon and a bit cheaper with a £5k starting price for the Comp Carbon before any discount.

Cheers
Rob.

cheers Rob, I'm swaying towards the kenevo but my one hesitation is how hard it may be to weight the front on the steeper rocky climbs , have you noticed a big difference between the two?

No issues that I noticed at all and I honestly couldn’t notice much difference between the 2 on steep sections.

Got mine a tad cheaper too.. pretty sure specialised and others dictate what the price of current models are otherwise you lose the privilege of stocking them.

It’s a bit far, I’m based West Yorkshire so thinking leisure lakes or wheelbase have £500 off if you trade in any old bike. Anyone know of anywhere else that has large or XL in a showroom in the north.

Are evans still doing their 350 trade in?

Not sure where they are based but the do post out Hargroves cycles are doing £5 off for every £50 you spend and they have size large kenevo in stock both colour ways

Anyone after a TLD Kenevo?

phone around Berkshire cycles you will get a 2019 kenevo expert for around that in the end it was to far for me to travel but I phoned a few of my locals up and they got within £100 of them and it would of cost me that in diesel and time so I got it there.
good luck (y)(y)

Back in the USA you will not find deals like this. That’s 30% off us msrp of 7750. Cost margin is 40% area.

I can’t say what deal Specialized gave me on my 19 expert Kenevo but that price is with in hundreds USD of it. I’d jump on that price all day long and with no strings attached ;)
