It’s official, Amflow is now available in US. Finally👏.

Bike delivered under a week, not 3+ months waiting for delivery from China. Good to see listing of authorized dealers as well.
Curious how Amflow will handle supporting those bikes that were purchased directly from China before official launch in U.S.
I know a few people on to there second motor already

Speaking of repairs and warranty, I also am curious how it will work for persons living in a state that does not have an authorized dealer. I am looking forward to seeing how Amflow supports the bikes in the field that are (purchased out of market / and or not from authorized dealer) and (in market not near an authorized dealer)

My local bike shop (ontario canada) had the amflow rep drop by last week. They rode the demo he had and were impressed by the motor but not by the catalog looking frame and house brand components.

The owner had the same opinion as I do. Why buy a bike just for the motor when other, way more established brands will have said motor in a year or two. Kinda nice to know I'm not the only one lol.

What 'house brand components'? I get that the frame geo isn't completely up to date, but the components seem standard fox/sram/magura?

im on my third Shimano motor in 14 months. What is your point?

You dont think Brose and Bosch have this same issue? The Shimano service center in my city states every brand last around 3000 miles around here no matter who makes them. If people ride slow and easy and only in cool temps with few hills, sure you can get a lot more miles. But thats not everyone or real world applications.

All motors are far from perfect

This is not a magic bullet, nor do they claim such. But ill be interested to see how these last in 90F weather climbing 4000' day

what a bunch of crap

The point was to make a light trail bike. Its not a downhill bike or enduro. It is a "trail bike"

Are you going to cry because this company made a great looking Ebike out there?
Cry? Nope not at all. I just won't be buying one. And it is a catalog frame dude.

noname wheels.

What do they charge? they do not sell these stand alone, so just out of curiosity, how do you know they charge so much?

By the way, ive had a lot of custom Chinese no name wheels built over the years, every last one still working fine. Same results as my buddies Enves

Also, are you the rep that went by my local? You sure sound like you are lol.

I don't understand how this could be a 'catalog frame' but don't see why that would matter if it still rides well (I haven't ridden one yet)

I have a Trek Rail (CX Gen 4), Santa Cruz Heckler (EP8), and Norco Sight VLT (EP8). I have no brand affinity and just want to ride something fun, which the amflow sure seems to be. If it's not, I'll sell it and try a CX Gen 5. All about having fun here.

Just a long distance rider, who enjoys his bike that is # 1 for this year, for more reasons than the motor.

You the local hater I see ;) We have a few on this forum.

There are no perfect bikes that fit everyone, someone will always complain, no matter how nice the bike actually is.

So keep it up ;)

Hey if you're happy with a flexy noname frame thats awesome man and if you're the rep and didnt have to pay for it even better.

Good luck.

about having fun
If you ride it once, you will buy it.

Its not like anything we have experienced before, less a motorcycle.

What impresses me is how quiet it is, well put together. My Canyon makes so much noise it doesnt need a bell lol.

In trail mode climbing a 1 mile easy hill, I set a KOM without trying. and you have 2 modes above that. Cruising up hills at 20mph is nice.

Handling wise, it is smooth and high speed corners you can fly around in 29 rear wheel mode, its just not as playful or precise in the tight stuff, but it carries more speed through the chunky stuff. I live where there is a lot of technical stuff and tight corners, so I will use the fli chip and put a 27.5 rear rim on it. Some trails ill use the 29 rear, for fast pace flow trails. Switchbacks and tighter trails Ill use the 27.5.

Tires are junk and I never use tubes, but that is all personal opinion, out of the box im having a blast. going faster then I ever have before, and not just a little increase. Its a shit eatin grin every mile

didnt have to pay
If you every get a chance at a higher education, do not pass it up.

Learn what rhetorical prose is, having sales skills does not imply who is a company boy

This Ebike is #1 right now, and you not liking it is fine.

Another KOM? I wonder how that could have happened?! 🤷‍♂️🤔😂

A more powerful motor might have something to do with it. But well done you… 🤭

Unno, Forbidden and Crestline just asked me to hold their pint… 😂

Amflow do sell the wheels separately here in the UK:

in the UK:
Not here.

But the price is high for wheels in UK that is for sure. But if is quality, its not as high as the more expensive wheels either.

Neat thing about Chinese wheel builders, you can have some great wheels built to what ever spec you wish.

Rode my friend‘s custom built Teewing today…super power, especially compared to my Gen 3 Turbo Levo. Motor sound reminded me of quiet jet engine and zero rattle. And the weight, 46.8 lbs with Fox 38 Factory fork and Float X2 shock.
