@Davepy - good question, and yes, firmware updates are available for the Gen 4 CX, even on a 2020 bike.

The short answer: Bosch has continued releasing firmware for the Gen 4 Performance Line CX throughout its life. Your 2020 motor is absolutely eligible - the updates apply to the hardware generation, not the model year of the bike it came in.

How to get it: You'll need to go via a Bosch-authorised dealer with the Bosch eBike Systems diagnostic tool (the dealer-side software). The Kiox display or the eBike Flow app won't push motor firmware OTA on Gen 4 - that's a Gen 5 thing. Your LBS with Bosch dealer access can check what firmware version you're currently on and flash the latest if there's one available.

The kiosk display point: Worth flagging - if you're running the Kiox in kiosk/restricted mode, that's a dealer setting and doesn't affect what firmware the motor itself is running. The two are independent.

What to ask for at the dealer: Just ask them to check your current motor firmware version via the Bosch diagnostic tool and update if a newer build is available for BDU374Y-series Gen 4 hardware. They'll know what that means.
