Yes if we went down first I definitely wouldn't bother going back up.@Just gan luckily for me I only really care about the downs and getting as much as that in as possible. Uphill is just the price I have to pay to get it.

Yeah ..you must have to travel quite a way to find a decent hill to go down in your part of the worldFlat and up is the price to be paid for having a buzz on the way down. It's addictive so always want steeper downs, which means ever steeper ups - which is why we got eMTBs. Also a bonus to be able to do longer rides.
From home 5 miles on a cycle path (Centurion Way) to the South Downs which is 'quite a big place', but a small area compared to your local rides I think ...Yeah ..you must have to travel quite a way to find a decent hill to go down in your part of the world![]()
I think I need to set altitude on levo it differs from mates trek every ride . So I presume I must put in actual correct altitude. A reset would put it to zero I presume.87 minutes this morning. 20km and 462m of up and I assume Dow as we started and finished in the same place.
For some reason my old app always used to say I did slightly more down than up, but I canโt figure out why as I always start and finish in the same place![]()
I've gone the other way now. I withstand the pedal up on the mtb (im 50/50 E mtb) get to the top and go ok, now time for the fun.I alway loved a good climb on a real bike and found it a challenge. Personally i dont get the same mental satisfaction on a Ebike . Saying that the downs are really what I enjoy the most on either bike.
Totally agree the technical climbs are brilliant on a E . Manage about a dozen steps on it. Saying that I've fell so many times on climbing things I never attempted on mtb . A lightweight e bike would be great on climbing tech stuff. Levo a bit heavy . Now you're talking with your Amflow it's amazing.I've gone the other way now. On the E i'm like lets see what crazy shit i can climb. I guess its a new learning curve. I've literally pedaled around the world in distance twice if not 3 times in my mtb life. So I know in depth what i can achieve on a pedal bike. Enter the E.... I wonder I can climb that set of stairs or tech section?
One if the sweet sweet surprises for me when i jumped on the E band wagon was the fact that i could ride a far more of my juicy hike a bikes. On the mtb i might get 50% before hiking, on the E its like 85% sometimes 95%. Its super cool to ride up something your would normally walk.
I love trying to bomb up steep technical climbs, but recently I tried going as slow as possible up technical climbs that i have had a lot of trouble with certain lines in the past, and now im making them clean. Fun stuff. On the E i'm like lets see what crazy shit i can climb
My 100nm bosch with 400wh 21.5 kg is pretty darn sensational for the technicality climb...Totally agree the technical climbs are brilliant on a E . Manage about a dozen steps on it.
