Guarantee you will come back from your first ride with a big smile on your face :) I'm also the wrong side of 55 been riding for years, but the old bones creaking too much after many broken bones ( not all riding related, but nearly all doing something stupid related :cool: ) so 2 years ago got my first emtb. fitness level probably better then ever because I find myself out there doing so many more miles now.

You will love it. Ebike's are amazing. I'm over 60 and can't get enough of it
