Hi guys,
I am getting older and have had a few tries on mates bikes, stepping on soon I think
currently on a Geometron long slack and low - and such fun
but pedalling up alongside anyone in an e bike is a nightmare

Welcome to the Forum.

Try to ride as many different bikes and motors as possible. The motor and its software have different ride characteristics. They are all good, but you may find that you prefer one to another.

Welcome! You don't have to wait until you're old to ride an eeb - look at the likes of Sam Pilgrim and Tom Cardy. Riding an eeb means you can have more fun in the same amount of ride time, and not feel as buggered afterwards. If you ride bike parks with uplifts, maybe keep your Geometron for that, but an eeb would be awesome for everything else. Climb? What climb? You won't regret it!
