Hi, I'm looking at getting a kenevo but getting a test ride with all the dealers closed is impossible. What's it like for general trail riding - it will be my only bike and not every day is a down hill day.

Merry Christmas

I absolutely love it mate , quality build & solid.
It is more directed towards DH & Enduro .
But I use it for a bit of everything & it does everything easy ;-)

That's the older Kenevo. I think a size "S" .. ??

Anyway .. I have the same model and despite any worries I had a the start that maybe it wouldn't be able to just bumble along - its more than capable of going as slowly and carefully or as fast and stupid as you like. Don't worry that something will be "too much" for something. If you decide to do more than just bumbling along trails, it will be there for you when/if you need it.

The situation as you would of had with a normal bike with extra weight and inefficient suspension for an enduro type bike, over a trail bike, doesn't really apply on an EMTB.

I was focused on the kenevo for 2 reasons. 1 - I have an Enduro pro which is 12 years old and the chain stay is so short that I can't keep the front down, the steep seat angle and longer chain stay look much better for climbing. 2 - before Christmas lunch I was 112kg and most bikes have a max load of under 135kg, which means I am too heavy, but the kenevo is 160kg. If I can find a dealer who will supply a comp with a 700wh battery its going to hard not to order one. Hopefully the dealers in Germany will open again in the new year.
