Looking for help to install the new Garmin Edge Explorer 2 power bundle to my Trek Rail 9.8. 2022. The motor is a Gen4 smart unit. The cable bought from Garmin is not compatible with this motor. I bought a rear light cable which I can splice into the Garmin. Now The question. According to the Bosch help line I should plug it into the yellow auxiliary port which the plug being red does not fit. I cannot find a cable with a yellow plug to fit. If the red port on the motor is activated will that reduce the battery output as it does on the front light thus limiting the amount of run time which would be counter productive. Your help would be appreciated with this conundrum.

This is more a general problem of Garmin / Bosch compatibility and vice versa:

I did that some months ago and in the end bought Gatmin and Bosch cable to cut and connect to get a Garmin / Bosch cable adapter.
