Hi, so as I said in the title, I'm undecided about which e-bike I'll get next.

I'm torn between the Orbea Wild M20 2026 and the Trek Rail + Gen 5 9.7.

I mostly use it for enduro.

Thanks in advance.

Both bikes are excellent. You will be pleased with the Bosch GEN5 motor.

Test ride both (if you’re able to) but remember that subtle changes can be done to the overall geometry.

Its going to be a personal thing
I've had both and the Rail wins hands down for heavier riding , Jumps etc
The orbea was a very confident all rounder , but i was fed up with breaking it as i had a 2022 model in alloy and the main frame and rear swing arm snapped at different occasions ,
But as above you need a test ride really (y)

I'm more undecided because supposedly the Orbea Wild almost always comes out on top in comparisons, and there are almost no videos about the Trek Rail in this new generation.

Chainstays and frames can break, whether they are carbon or alloy. It’s the nature of this sport. When and if that happens a local Bike Shop and remaining warranty can be helpful.

Seriously? My point of reference is that the Orbea Wild would be much more suitable for downhill and jumping scenes than the Trek Rail, since this new generation was developed and tested in downhill races.

Orbea's have too much history of breaking, and more importantly, of providing poor after sales support.

I'd go with the excellent Trek myself.

GL!

I was able to ride both bikes at a "Bike Test" with some great downhill conditions. I enjoyed the Orbea Wild a lot and it was a very popular booth at the event. I rode a host of high end bikes hourly for 3 days and came away with Orbea being one of my favorites.

So what did you think of the Trek?

Orbea is that ebike brand that made an ebike that needs a team of mechanics, tool sets and a workstand, so they can take "only" 15 minutes to swap batteries, right? I will stay far away from them until I forget ever having seen that.

It's prudent to consider the level of support you'll receive from the manufacturer when parts fail, which they invariably do. Around here, Orbea doesn't have great support. They're half a world away. For you, they're right next door. Would Trek be able to provide good service?

I know that you wanted help between the 2 but.....I'm pretty happy with my Mk3 Bullit. If I could buy again now I'd choose something with a DJI Motor. Crestline or the Unno. Im going to check out the Trek
