Hey,

I have been riding MTB on and off since the late 80s/early 90s. Unfortunately my knee won't let me ride for long distances anymore :( so that's why I am here :D
I am on the lookout for an eMTB, but by 'eck the price (tight northener). I am still unsure whether a hardtail will suffice. I have ridden and raced hardtails in marathon and endurance events for the last 8 years or so.

Anyway, I am off to read, read, read and read some more.

Cheers

Lots to choose from.
I used to do offroad motorcycles, then fatherhood and wifey put a stop to that.
Then I got into bikes with a Norco Lobos Comp 1998.
Then I got older and ebike seemed appropriate.
Ended up with a Giant Fathom E+ last week. It's a hardtail, and my Norco was full S. What a blast.
If you're into downhill, then something with a dropper might be the right choice.
