First MTB was a brand new 1992 Trek 930...yes I'm an old fart.

Kids are grown and I'm surrounded by quality trails in the DMV area (DC, Maryland and Virginia)

Time to step up to EMTB's.

Also looking at the 2022 YT MX Decoy (pre-order and wait a few months) for the value. I can wrench on my bikes but do not want the hassle of possible warranty work on the battery / motor. Tough call.

I chose a 2022 Giant Trance E+2.

I’ll post my thoughts in the Giant forum after it arrives. I expect two weeks.

I wanted a longer travel bike but the Trance seems like a great bike and good value.
