About ten rides on new to me Heckler. Pedal strikes are down right dangerous and I am not even in rocky terrain. I know some have moved to shorter crank arms but I am 6 5" and need them as long as I can get. How much will the flip chip help? I'd hate to have to move to a 29" rear. Overall I love the bike but I am riding very tentatively due to a few scary pedal strikes and a lot of minor ones. TIA
My other bikes are a Pivot 429SL and Knolly Chilocotin and I have almost nil strikes on those even in rocks.
