Hi all,
My first time here so I apologise if this has been asked before.
I have done a bit of research and it appears to wire a headlight into the Shimano e8000 motor, using the factory output ports, all the lights available are very low output (around 500 lumens)
I'm hoping to get a light with around 2500+ lumens 'hard-wired' to my bike so I don't need to worry about rigging up external batteries to the frame via Velcro straps, etc.
My question is two parts:
1. Is it possible to purchase and fit a high powered light using the light attachment ports on the Shimano motor? If not;
2. Can a high lumen light be wired directly to the battery on the Merida?
I greatly appreciate any assistance that can be given.
Cheers,
Wayne
