Hullo folks, newbie here....been watching Robs channel for a good while now - very entertaining and informative videos. Built my own hardtail a few years ago out of a Trek Xcaliber 9 and a Bafang mid-drive kit. Last year I upgraded to a full sus Vitus E-Sommet Deore from Chain Reaction in Belfast and I have had great crack on it. It has brought me to places that I never would even have considered previously and the comfort level is wonderful. I do a mix of trail-centres in Ireland and google-map assisted single tracks wherever I can find them. I would highly recommend an emtb to other over 50's who wish to explore their locality's hidden trails in these changing times. Did plenty of cycling as a youngster, then many years on motorcycles and have really enjoyed getting back into cycling, first on the road bike and now mountain biking.
