Giant reign e+ 2 ERROR 2022

Hello everyone,

I’ve just bought a Giant reign e+ 2 (2022) and on my first ride I’ve kept getting this error, I’ve taken it to the bike shop and they have found no fault “could not re create the fault” has anyone had this issue ?
Also the whole system seems to be turning off when riding.

Any help is appreciated!

I can only suggest checking the battery terminals and all the plugs on the motor and controllers etc

I had a similar issue on my Trance E+2 , I updated the controller and gateway software in the ride app , but I also checked , cleaned the connectors , all , plus battery terminals and the orange light went away , plus everything worked fine , check the engagement of the battery to the connector in the bike , there is not much engagement there , I shimmed mine with a 2mm to enable the pins to engage better into the battery. Also treat the terminals with dielectric grease sparingly.
