Dyneema 3-5mm rope, have plenty of it.

Yes, I have a set. I use a brute trash can to set the wheel on, fits perfectly. Than maybe have my wife hold on to it.

I used thin starter pull cord for chain saws etc on windscreens back in the day

Why is it that all these cool mechanic tricks are performed by some cool readhead looking dude with a long beard and tatoos? The guy looks like my former (retired) bike mechanic who was also full of incredible tricks.

I’ve never used the rope trick but I use garbage can method often. But I also use the Park Tool thingy sometimes.

That tool is only worth $30 and that’s about how much I paid for it. Great holder for tire changes, adding sealant, check for leaks, maintenance, balancing (if you’re into that), spoke tensioning etc.
But I still like the garage can.
