My Gen 3 has a whistle or squeaking sound, but not a rattle. I still don't know what it is. Here: Vocaroo | Online voice recorder

It seems to only make that whistling sound when I peddle. At first, I thought it might be the brakes, but it's not. My Specialized dealer took a look at it and he thinks it's coming from inside the motor. But he can't help me because there is no service for the Levo in Japan. So I've been stuck with this whistling noise for 2 years now. It gets very irritating sometimes, so I put on my headphones.Does it make the sound when you don’t pedal?
Sounds rythymic and it repeats.
Brake rotor rubbing on pads?
Hub bearings?
Is that sound permanent? Or can it disappear during the ride? My motor also sometimes makes sounds when pedaling, but they go away if I stop pedaling for a couple of seconds and then start pedaling again. It seems to only make that whistling sound when I peddle. Thanks. I'll save that info. I bought it new in 2023, and brought to Japan. The whistling noise seems to have started a few months after I got it.If it only makes the odd sound when pedaling then it’s not the brakes or hubs.
How old is the motor?
Any warrenty?
Worse case ship it out to England or the US to I think their called “ The electric bike motor repair Co.”
The one in the US is in Tennessee.
Look em up online or give them a call.
I have heard good responses for their services.
Good luck hope ya get it sorted out.
Seems to always be there making that light whistling sound when I'm peddling. Is that sound permanent? Or can it disappear during the ride? My motor also sometimes makes sounds when pedaling, but they go away if I stop pedaling for a couple of seconds and then start pedaling again.
I bought it at the Specialized dealership in Taipei in 2023, and brought it to Japan. The Specialized dealer in my city in Japan has done some light maintenance on it for me, but told me that he can't help me with the motor or firmware updates, etc. The Levo is illegal in Japan. So I have a question about the "no service for the Levo in Japan". Did you buy it in Japan? From a Specialized supported retailer?
If not, where did it come from?
