Gen2 Speed Sensor Connector

Hi, I’m trying to fit a VOLspeed V4 to a Gen2 motor and I can’t get the speed sensor plug to fit. The male plug from my sensor is shorter than the one on the VOLspeed loom. The supplier is adamant they are all the same on all tuning boxes and fit all motors since 2014.

Anybody else come across this?

You know what, on closer inspection it looks like is is broken! If it is that would explain it
