Many thanks

That was useful…..
moreso as issues encountered and overcame, well done & thanks
I’ve a bearing press, so guess I’ll buy a blind puller, set of bearings and set aside some time

Thanks again

Well I’ve amassed the parts & tools

I had a bearing press
I’ve purchased a
Specialized Horst Pivot Bearing Tool (Kenevo, Levo, Stumpjumper 2021/2022/2023 onwards) × 1
though unsure if needed, but don’t want to be stuck half way through - £16.50

Bearing set from Trail vision (12 Bearings)
Turbo Levo Pivot Bearing Kit | Blueseal MAX Full Complement™ × 1 -£42.11

A cheap blind Puller from Amazon £37.95
Have plenty of rags and marine grease

So in theory, all in and answering my question <£100 + Bearing Press

Given That I’ll likely break something, leaves copious reserves & time!

If you’re like me the lbs should do it for about £150

I’m a have a go hobbyist at heart and I keep that option for last, not to say I won’t execute, more that I’ll try first!

good luck mate !

you can do it with the triangle on the bike still. Getting those paired ones out by the rear mech with the slide hammer thing is a PITA though. I'd be tempted to leave those ones alone if they still run smoothly, it seems to be the ones near the seatpost that go first for me so far.

In fairness, they’re not a bad job……..
The seat stay takes a bit of frustration with equal relieve once done
Whilst I’d say none were particularly bad, I now have piece of mind they’re done

Onto the real cause of my creaking and waiting for a replacement chain stay for the rebuild

crikey you were riding around with that like that?! It wasn't done by the slide hammer was it? It always feels like something is going to break the couple of times I've done it!

Once the chain protector was removed, it’s even more impressive, clean cut that one would struggle to do blindfolded with a saw
No dings, little by way of paint damage,
Fortunately, bikes back together awaiting its maiden voyage with a second hand chainstay whilst the frame warranty outcome is settled
Shall take it through the tarmac for a shake down tonight

Hi, any advice on the best frame bearings to use for replacement. Seems like Enduro brand are the best but expensive, are they worth it? What's best reckoning between kinetic, blue seal or specialized MY22 replacement set?

I decided to go with Enduro Max bearings for my Gen 3, they are supposedly designed for pivots. Bike is at the shop now doing them as I didn’t want to spend the day doing it myself. $150 US is the install price. FWIW I have done bearing replacement on my analog bikes, but just didn’t want to deal with all the extra stuff on an ebike

Enduro is Taiwan garbage, use NTN/NSK, Koyo, SKF
