Are there any good lodges to stay at in FOD? Thinking of taking the family there, might take the bikes along too ?

Have a look at "Whitemead" like a mini Centre Parc
Right by the family Cycle trails in Parkend , 5-10 min ride from "Dowies" area

Also similar style lodges at Forest Holidays Bracelands , Christchurch , Coleford on North West edge of Forest . Right by Symonds Yat.
Family trails on the doorstep , bit of a decent/climb if you go down to the rock.
Can get to Staunton woods from there as well
Main cycle centre in Cannop is about 10-15min drive from there .
Can link the whole area up by bike but local knowledge and a mile or two on the road would be needed really .

I would of joined you as never been round there before, only had my bike 2 weeks but another time for sure. Be good to get shown around. No too far away from there either.

Take it steady the furthest trails have been damaged from felling. Out with the family tomorrow else I'd have popped down.
