Edit: it came with 2% battery and the standard charger is slow, so if you want a chance of riding on day 1, beg the shop to charge it!
Fingers crossed for you. Good news is that Bruce shipped 11 bikes to Pablo's yesterday, so there's a chance! I've checked on the software and it's not saying an update is necessary. SIM card is not required (I didn't even know it was a thing till I borrowed the Amflow...). The bike did feel tall in the front (as expected), but then I realised it came with four spacers under the stem

. Felt more 'normal' after that. It is heavy, but less than I was expecting -very similar to the Amflow I rode the other week which I think on paper is at least 2kg lighter. My previous bike was a V1 Druid, so it's not too foreign. Things I noted straight away (putting aside ridiculous Avinox power):
- S3 feels fine, although obviously need to get on some single track to test properly. I'm 176cm and was worried it was too big. My old Druid Large is more aligned with the S2... There's probably some motivated reasoning there, cause I ain't got an option to change!
- The GX Electronic Transmission is awesome - quite loud on changes, but so defined and reliable. I had an XTR on my old Druid and never fully gelled with it.
- I can have the seatpost slammed and the 210mm travel is absolutely perfect. I was worried I'd be too short for the travel. Man, the seat sits so low compared to my old Druid!
- No surprise, but it definitely feels a lot less 'trail bike' compared to my 130/150 Druid.
- I've never ridden a DH bike, so with the seat fully down, the high front end feels crazy, but get into attack mode and I feel I have so much room
- The Select+ suspension feels plush. Looking forward to tinkering with it on a trail. Might even break out my old shockwiz - an ebike will rule for running the same bit of trail multiple times for set up!
I hope yours arrives. It's gonna rip in Vegas! Can't remember if I mentioned in this Forum, but I rode the Amflow up the main shuttle route the other weekend - shuttle pick up to Billy T - it took 9 min! It did use nearly 20% of the battery... On the flip side, I went up Apumoana in Eco at a 'normal' speed and it used 6%.
One more photo of her in final form - ride wrap on (I give myself 4/10 for the job... but it's on and protected

), Conti Tyres, Carbon Oneup bar, bottle cage and oneup pump/EDC -otherwise stock CorE T2, S3.
