Hi, I bought this bike a couple of days ago and really like the fazua system.

So the rims are tubeless ready and there is a plasticky rim tape installed. Do i still need specific tubeless rim tape or does somebody know if the already installed original rimtape is already fine for tubeless?

Where can I find the torque specs for the linkage for the rear shock? I would like to install a larger volume spacer, but there are no torque specs on the bolts :(

Best regards
Christian

Regarding the tubeless tires and rim; If the rim tape is properly applied it should be ok. That would include the correct width rim tape and a properly installed presta air valve. The tires must be tubeless ready also. Tire sealant is added, 80-100ml, in order to fill any micro-holes. Muck off, Stans, Bontrager etc are available in different sizes. Rotate a completed tire and then check for air leaks with a soapy-water solution. (7:1 dish soap and water in a spray bottle).

You may want to search for torque specs that apply to your bike or check the manufacturer manual.

Pop-Pop when both beads are set. (Usually 25-40 psi to get the satisfying sound) 😉

If they are tubeless ready, the correct tape is probably installed. If it came with tubes, you will need to install valves for tubeless rims. Without seeing your set up, I can only speculate. If you bought it new, the dealer would know. If you bought it used, put in the tubless valve, install the tire and inflate. It should at least hold air overnight. Depending on you shock mount, you may be able to replace the spacer just by opening the air can on the bike. Several of my bikes are designed in such a way that that's not too hard.
