I wouldn't mind a new seat myself but how the hell are you supposed to choose from everything out there.
Everyone is different shapes and sizes and these things aren't cheep.
I put a fizzik Gobi on a bike build years ago cos it was supposed to be the shnizzel but I'd av been better off sticking a fukin cactus on.

Some shops do demos, other brands offer ways of determining fit on their websites, still it remains a bit hit and miss

Yeah, I went to fabrics site and guess their offerings narrow down to the radius but then options after that...

From my experience having a fat arse (like I do) doesn't necessarily mean you need a wide saddle, that's where it can all be a bit confusing as saddles measurements tend to be based off yours sit bones, not the overall size of your booty.

I tried it, but my bum didn't like it. I ended up with a much cheaper Ergon saddle which I love. Ergon SFC3. Been using it for a couple of years now.

Theres a way round that . . .

Get the other half to take your bike for a spin, they will inevitably comment on how uncomfortable the saddle is, thus opening the door for said purchase

Well, I ordered a new saddle (went for the Ergon SMC Comp Gel).

Even had the other half measure my sit bones. It was quite a laugh we had...
