I bought both endura mt500 freezing point jacket and pants. Both very comfortable and warm. I´ve been using them alot this winter while riding.
I use the pockets for keeping my cellphone. So now both right sides zipper on my jacket and pants has broken.

Endura thinks this is wear and tear? So no warranty even though my jacket is less than a half year old so that sucks.

Anyone found a solution like putting velcro or buttons since the zippers broke? Any suggestions?

I am surprised and disappointed with Endura's reaction. Six months is too soon to use wear and tear as an excuse. Surely you should expect more than one season from their products? It would be worth objecting to their decsion and/or using your local Trading Standards to intervene. Or maybe, if you purchased with a credit card, getting you money back that way.

Alternatively, if the zips are special, buy them from the internet and take them to any seamstress that does clothing repairs. There are always some about in even small towns. They can often be found in the same premises as dry cleaners, or they might have a card on a noticeboard in the cleaner. Ask around. The main problem is that the repair might not have the same waterproof performance as the clothing. Talk to the repairer to see what they recommend. Most clothing repairs can be waterproofed with PVA glue. But I would try the usual re-proofing compounds first.

A lot of this will depend upon your style requirements.

Endura do a fixing service for there products with a fixed price. It's worth checking out. I had a problem with the zip ripping the baffle on a jacket and the repaired it free of charge.

I have the men's Endura MT500 jacket and the zipper pull is on the opposite side from my other jackets. Has anyone had this same experience? I even ordered another one to see if mine was a one-off. Both were the same.
