You scrimped, you saved, you dug out all the loose change from between the couch cushions. You even mowed the lawn so mum would give you an advance on your allowance. You threw it all down on that fancy new eMTB that you've been eyeing in the bike store window.

It wasn't until you rode the thing that you realized that eMTB's are for old men and sissies. Now what? You're out of cash and the eMTB lost half its value the minute you rolled it out of the bike store.

Now there's a solution! Convert that pathetic blender on wheels into something you won't be ashamed to ride. Don't wait! Reclaim your manhood now!

I spoke to the guys who make these last weekend, and from what I remember of the conversation, they built the first one because they had booked a riding holiday and the motor failed on their bike right before the holiday, and they couldn't wait for the warranty replacement to arrive.

Its good to have options!

I was thinks about something like this for future conversion if and when the motor becomes unuseable. My idea was to gut the motor of all the internals and fit a BB and crank shaft.

but the kranke is a great solution for making the bike lighter for analogue riding. 👍🏻

So I’ve been doing a bit of mathing …
Carbon Rail 9.7 frame; $4500cdn.
Bosch CX Gen5 motor; $900cdn.
625wh battery; $1200cdn.

Those add up to expensive paperweights.
This conversion kit; $400cdn.

It's funny that they don't do a kit for the motor with the worst after market support... :ROFLMAO:

They should post some pics of it on a FB welding group, the comments would be a shitshow!

Also, that looks pretty flexy and I bet Hambini would get all moist over the BB alignment...
This is a much better solution, especially for the money they are charging;

apart from the weight of the battery and motor ( + the weight of the conversion kit) the kit also needs to remove several more bike kgs to make it an "Amish" bike I would have thought!!

I was shocked at the price when Hybridizer was offering this for 100USD....

I wish someone would offer one for a Fazua. At least then when my YT dies I could make it a nice enduro bike. lol

Could I ask if you have a link to the company, the adapter is quite impressive.

When I look up the name Hybridizer I come up with a high pivot emtb design that I have not heard of as follows:

SANN-EN – Hybridizer

This is convoluted and crazy, before you add an emtb to you stable just buy this kit and make your current bike an ebike that you can convert back to analog in 2 seconds: I did this and love it.

I don't believe they list the adapter on their website, but they do offer it. Its for the Bafang M500 series motors. Its mentioned in the thread about the bike in the DIY section. That's actually where I pulled the pic above.
