I have been checking out a number of You tube vids on this and all looks positive. One thing I would like to know but haven't yet found out is how is the shifter (handlebar controller) powered?

It's power is a CR 2032 Battery seem to last for ever

After giving this a lot of thought I really could not justify buying the Wheel Top E-shift derailleur for my old winter bike despite a €50,- reduced sale price. Instead I went for the LTWOO AE 3-13S which is now installed and working really well. It comes with 2 detatchable, rechargable, via a USB-C socket, batteries and there is an app. which allows me to micro adjust each gear. It shifts fast, smooth and accurately, a really big improvement over normal cable. I suspect the cogs, chain and derailleur may all be past their sell by date but this E-shifter has given them a new lease of life. Very happy and really sold on E-shifting

P.S. I am still keeping an eye on the Wheel Top if they come out with a version with a detatchable battery or powered direct from the bike I will go for it on my best bike. Unfortunately I do not have a garage so both bikes stay out in winter in an open bike shed so I am concerned about what that would do to a non removable lithium battery. It can and does get very cold here in winter.

I found this on AliExpress it seems to be very similar to the "regular" Wheel Top but the battery is removable and it comes with 2. It says it shifts 7 -13 rather than 3 -14 but other wise it seems much the same and would certainly meet my need to remove the battery in the cold winter months and the price looks OK too. Do you have any info. on it?
