Do you run 180 in the front with the original 230x57.5 rear shock ?I run a trail 9.8 2021 in high with a 180 front fork. I ride PNW downhill chuck and it works great.
Going to try a mullet setup soon.
I just made samme setup 170 front with 62.5 back. Didn't you have enough clearance in low ?Mines on high to get seat stay clearance for a 62.5mm shock. It's balanced out by running 170mm Zeb's.
Nope, not by a long shot. Mines a carbon medium. Things may well be different on alloy/larger frames.I just made samme setup 170 front with 62.5 back. Didn't you have enough clearance in low ?![]()
I just used some loctite 243 and torqued up to spec... Been ok for 18 months. If anyone's wondering about swapping the mino link around and hasn't tried it before - it's 17nm torque. Don't over-grunt it - the bolt shears to protect the frame ( which is a good thing).
I used the cable tie hack to ensure it won't come undone and if it does you won't lose it ( also a good thing).
Don't do cable tie up real tight as the frame movement will break it.

I torque all of the pivots when new and then apply a mark with a paint pen for a visual inspection each ride to see if anything has backed out.I used the cable tie hack to ensure it won't come undone and if it does you won't lose it.
