Does anybody use a portable bike stand on the trail?

I have the haibike all MTN 7. And occasionally I want to grab a good picture on the trail. I have no way to hold my bike up on say.. fire trails. DO they make telescopic bike stands you can put in your pocket and use whenever?

Also, want a cheapish way to lift the back wheel off the ground when I get to the car so can clean it properly. Any suggestions?

Pro EMTBs always carry a large stick with them - or so it seems in pictures.

Side stand

Saw this neat stand in one of Rob's videos, Been racking internet but can not find anything like it, does anyone know what it is as would be really handy out and about. Many thanks in advance,

I turn the bike upside down to remove the wheels and have made a couple of wooden chocks to lift the bars off the ground to avoid damaging the control head unit, and a pound shop doormat to stop saddle getting scratched.

Get a cheap telescopic fishing rod stand from eBay That's what we use..
