Good question. I have a new Rockshox Vivid Air on my PL large that fits fine and the Live Valve Neo I have on my Cannondale is not as fat as the Vivid so probably will work. Understand the hesitation though because of the price. The Neo is a great shock. Can anyone confirm that a Fox DHX Live Valve Neo rear shock 185x55 will fit my Amflow PL Carbon Pro?
Personal option i guess, but I figured if I was going to buy the base model I'd probably be upgrading to factory suspension and putting carbon wheels on anyway, so I might as well buy the pro. Plus it comes with an extended warranty. Is PX Carbon Pro worth the extra money?
Over the last Mk 1 one yes definitely, they have listened and ironed out a few niggles. It rides so well, every time I get on it I am blown away at how good its rides. This Atherton needs to be something very special to ride better. Is PX Carbon Pro worth the extra money?
Depends. Are you getting any "added benefits" with the Pro?Is PX Carbon Pro worth the extra money over PX Carbon?
I think this is especially true of higher levels of the same suspension. All those extra fiddly nobs aren't particularly useful to most riders (especially me).(Not) hot take: I bet the same rider would get the same times on the base vs Pro.
Even more controversial take, fancy suspension matters less on an ebike. As long as it has the right tune…
The distributor here told me that PX also has an extended warranty. I'm not sure if he made a mistake.Personal option i guess, but I figured if I was going to buy the base model I'd probably be upgrading to factory suspension and putting carbon wheels on anyway, so I might as well buy the pro. I just wish it was black
This is for the PX pro for some countriesThe distributor here told me that PX also has an extended warranty. I'm not sure if he made a mistake.
The tune is important and with fox suspension they have a lot of running changes over the years additionally to the individual tunes but in general the X2 damper should be better for aggressive riding than the grip damper.(Not) hot take: I bet the same rider would get the same times on the base vs Pro.
