Hey all, I've been 'fat curious' for a long time but sadly options to sate my lust in the UK have dwindled, to pretty much zero! So, I'm now thinking about a DIY carbon option but have no idea where to even start looking? If anyone has any experience to share, be that fat-specific or DIY-specific (or both!), I'm all ears! I'm looking for a hardtail with a reach of circa 420-430mm. For info, I'm a former physicist and pro bike mechanic, so theoretically ideally placed for a project like this. Thanks in advance to any and all 😊

You could just get a carbon fat bike of your choice and fit a bafang bbshd/02 or cyc mid drive.
It's a simple and relatively cost effective build.
Bbs02 and battery can be yours for six or seven hundred quid, works well and is very quiet.
