I'm considering some more protection especially on my knees and it don't need to be the most hard-core types but comfortable to use all year around so has anyone any experience with these kneepads?

After wearing 3 different Fox Enduros kneepads over the past 5 years, last set were the D30's and the stretchy material stretched out and went loose.

I considered the Dharco ones but settled on the Evoc flex lite after a bit of research.

More protection than my previous Fox pads and not as airy but really good pads so far. Bought at xmas and worn for the hot Aussie summer without issue.

Just go up 1 size as they are small fitting... I like tight but the size Med pads wouldnt even pull over my calves, the Large worked well but are still tighter than the size Med Fox Enduros.

I have tried to read and read reviews but for me comfort is high on the priority list and that they are not too bulky so what in your research made you change your mind from Dharco to Evoc?

I'm a Dharco slut, I have 4 pair of their pants and probably 15 jerseys, 1 x shorts as they are too long for me and a few pair of the jocks, also over they years, probably 10+ pairs of their gloves. Still wearing the gloves, even today.

It was just the interest in the Evoc pads with a little bit more protection and the fact that Evoc make really good shit, I have backpack and bike bag from them. I gave it a go and it worked out pretty good.

The Dharco pads were a very close 2nd and I wear knees on every ride, so like POC, if I thought they were excessive or bothering me, I would change to another brand. I keep the POC and ION pads for shuttle days, too hot and they make you feel like you are wearing protection, the Fox and EVOC knees feel effortless, I would say the Dharco would be very similar.

I also have Evoc FR Trail E-Ride 20 Macaskill backpack and it's comfortable with backprotection but it's difficult to find the "right" kneepads and I looked at the EVOC and they are one sale to half the price of Dharco which just arrived and I'm trying out the comfort level which is most important to me but if I earlier knew about EVOC I would have ordered them and saved $80
