Yeah I'm kind of governed this year with certain dates.

Dammm, the first round is hard to build a fantasy team for!
They don’t give enough money to make good picks. I think Vitals Fantasy is better than Pinkbike’s in that regard. Vitals is up tomorrow.

best web sites to watch track walk, practice and qualifying? Ive tried vital mtb and YT but its pretty bleak..

Cheers

Youtube. Just pick individual teams & athletes who vlog. Pinkbike, Bernard Kerr, Jenna Hastings, Troy Brosnan, YT Mob, Jack Moir for Enduro and so on. Far as I know no one broadcasts practice or track walk.

To add to this Wyn TV for interviews. He gets around the teams but he's variable in quality to say the least & Theo Erlangsen has started interviewing racers too, if you can take the f bomb count.

Woke up to messages from friends saying that a 1 hour video of Q2 got posted a few hours after the event.

BK must be wishing he'd never heard of Poland. Two dead riders & no one making the show. Without Morgane Charre, they would have been running a very expensive holiday. On the subject of enduro riders, the one to watch for me today is Hattie Harnden. P3 in Q1, she has a real shot at glory today I reckon.

So, waited a while to not spoil things, what do we think? Stoked from here with my UK/Ireland perspective. Sorry for a few who bit the dust* but nothing ever beats a wet race, the drama!

I haven't watched the replay yet, will do that tonight after work. Sunday races are always hard for me as they lean well into the early hours of Monday morning here in NZ.

This morning, I preferred to watch the F1 race in Imola.

Shame about the weather , gave us some wild moments but made for a worse race IMO.
Great to see Richie and Maes put down solid runs , weird that Hattie and Vali didn't deliver some magic though.

Overall , an odd race to kick off the year !

I managed to watch live (Imola was on recording). I had watched the Q2 in bed in the morning, this unprotected qualifying is awesome and adds what should have been in previous seasons.
Quite a few surprises and a good start to what looks like being a fun season.

That is true. It's the one factor that undermines the level playing field either way depending on whether conditions improve or deteriorate. But also the thing that can on occasion make for hilarious entertainment. Overall I'm liking the changes so far, double qually & no protected status looks like a leveller & sweeps away the silly tape breaking & cruisy semi final nonsense.

That was a wild race, I enjoyed the coverage and even the commentary. Having Neko in there made a nice change, Josh Carlson I can take or leave. New Qually format is cool and no protected riders will definitely shake things up.

My PB fantasy team wasn't abysmal but wasn't great either, fell into the trap of changing some riders after timed training, should have left Camille and Richie in there haha.

I enjoyed it.

I do miss the Claudio/rob warner days for commentating. Those guys bought the stoke.

Saw her interviewed literally from her hospital bed, trussed up in plaster, saying she couldn't wait to get back to it. It's her mum & dad I feel sorry for most. 😂
