Yeah the geometry chart doesn't seem to make much sense, 485 chain stays or am I mis reading it?
That's a shame.

Yes, and that's why it's a shame.

There's no need for a well designed Perf CX 2020 bike to have chainstays that long.

The measurement "H" looks to be the distance from the wheel axle to the crank centreline. On the Corratec page there's a dimension of 455 which doesn't change with frame size, but no pic to show what it's supposed to be.
The spec also mentions 45KMH and 350W motor...

This is all stating to remind be of the early 80s micro computer boom. A different machine / brand appearing almost daily and prices becoming cheaper and cheaper until total saturation.
Even some of the names sound a bit like ebikes.
“Spectrum-on” anyone? ?

Hi, I found this site as I've been trying to find out more about this bike. from what I can tell, it's a rebadged lombardo Sempione (it was listed as Lombardo on the belgium decathlon website)
Sempione RACE - Lombardo Bikes

The lombardo seems to come with a 625wh battery (depending on model) but I think the Decathlon version comes with a 500wh battery

Good work - I suspect its an open mould OEM frame which quite a few brands will slap their name on.

I think its actually the same as their Sempione Pro, which has longer travel (the race is only 120mm) and the geo figures look the same, although its running 29 inch wheel up front

What interest me about the decathlon bike, and the Sempione website really hasn't helped, is that I could use parts I already have to turn it into this.

Sempione DC90 - Lombardo Bikes

I am guessing as it's a generic Bosch frame, its designed to take both 29 and 27.5, as the Sempione have models running both wheel sizes on the same frames in their line up, hence the chain stay length. A one size fits all approach which keeps costs down.

I'm thinking we start a website .. say, Dickstarter.com .. Everyone gives me loads of money through the website to buy one. I wreck it and promise to write a concise article of a minimum of 100 words .. everyone's happy ! :-)

We can then use the website to fund other dumb ass projects ! :-)

You might have hard time trying to wreck that thing. I can’t see any cheap components on it.

You need to goto the store to pick it up .. You can buy some more sunglasses when you're there, what more reason do you need :)
The thing I love about Decathlon is that you never know what you might walk out with . . .

I've got a full set of fencing gear.

If that doesn't send Zim into a terminal frenzy, nothing will...

Just comparing your two frame images .. they're similar .. but not the same .. the top tube on the decathlon drops down steeper and arrives lower. The seat stay strengthening triangle on the decathlon is smaller, the "ball breaker" - where the top tube meets the headstock is a different shape (you might have noticed, I'm making up terms here) . The Stilus ends up with a very long standover height, which is very handy in a lot of "eject" scenarios ..

Thats because the one in the decathlon photo is a small frame size - if you look at the pictures of the bike being ridden, which is a larger frame size, they are identical - also see this picture of a small frame size from another model in the Sempione Range and you can the similarity to the decathlon (bare in mind the Sempione is running 29'rs)

I reckon that's a cracking bike for the money, not far off the same spec as a base model 2020 cube 140 for a £1000 less. Does it come with the kiox and 625 battery? For a gen4 powered bike it looks good, very good if it has the 625 battery.

It has the 500 battery

Loads of brands do this, for example you have the Astro (big Taiwanese manufacturer of frames for the likes of Mondraker and Transition) who have their OEM Shimano STEPS frame, used by amongst others Willier and Diamond Back. It is also the frame Shimano used to build up bikes for the original press launch/ride of the e8000 system.
