Levo Gen 2 Decal Removal

Hey after some advice, I’m looking at changing my decals on my base 2019 levo. They look like it’s been baked on not sticker type, I’ve ordered some new ones but only noticed when I came to start removing the old ones.

Anyone have suggestions on how to remove these?

I know that’s worked in the past to hear the adhesive up so you can remove with a bank card type item, this doesn’t look like it’s stuck on rather painted on.

The branding is painted on,
I over layed though recall the protection on the down tube had to be removed and replaced wasn’t the same width

A company out of the UK sells some good Specialized decals for the Levo etc. I redid the wife's from White to Stealth.

How did you remove the old ones, that’s the question.

You can't. I bought new ones and covered up the white...They are under the clear coat. Similar to what PIVOT does.

For that I used 500 and 1000 grit sandpaper and lightly sanded off the decals that she didn't want on her 5.7 Carbon. It doesn't take much to sand them off. Then take an automotive UV stable satin or clear and spray over the area you sanded.

I’ve since removed the fork decal, this was done with heat gun to warm and peel, clean with white spirits to remove glue
