Does the brose have a similar trait to the shimano motor in that if you switch on the sytem with even the smallest amount of forward movement it shows an error code/wont apply power to system? I.E the bike has to be stationary when turning on?

Mine always had power but it was delivered erratically and inconsistent and surging tried all the obvious stuff initially on the end the motor totally died
