Hey guy,
currently looking to get a light emtb/ enduro. Big fan of the bosch sx and also of removable batteries. In the enduro category that really only leaves a couple bikes. Had my eye on the conway ryvon for a while, basically checks all boxes and looks amazing imo.

I just cant decide on the version, there is the 4.0 with a reasonable price (6,5k€) and reasonable components and then there is the 10.0 (10k) with top notch components. See list below for comparison. Especially the transmission is incredible on the sx due to many needed gear changes, but that can easily be upgraded. I have the money, but im just not sure if I want to spend it. Any input is appreciated, especially regarding price/ performance.

Cheers.

Alright! I ride mainly enduro and trails, coming from a focus sam2 (~ 27kg bosch cx bike with lots of travel) and an orbea rallon as my non-e alternative.

I bought the ryvon lt 4.0 and made some upgrades, mainly transmission gx, shimano breaks and a 38 factory fork (was stupid cheap on sale, couldn’t resist).

The ryvon is very comfortable for ulhilling riding and pedals very well. Frontwheel moves lightly over obstacles. The reduced weight is amazing, I rode 2 hours with some “bio-buddies” and peddled without assistance for 80% of the ride no problem. The bosch sx is A M A Z I N G, if youre a high ish cadency righter (which I am). It closes the gap between bio and ebike so well. It has an incredible amount of power while feeling very “modular” and reacting incredibly well to your input. Fazua and shimano/ orbea rise lack a lot there imho. Bosch takes the crown (again).

Transmission is very nice to have, you need to switch gears a lot more often then on a cx.

Lastly: bike is light and nimble, very very poppy and feels bashcally like a long trail bike. With rougher terrain it just plows through everything. The additional weight compared to the bio enduro gives a lot of security, while maintaining enough agility for my (and my rather jumpy/ poppy style).

Any specific questions just ask :)

Tkdr: I love that thing! Rode a shitton already.

Oh one thing: the battery can only be charged while taken out. Huge plus for it being removable, especially in this weight category. But not being able to charge on the frame at all is annoying
