Cheapest way to lighten EMTB

hope there's no rocks or roots on the trails, or you don't mind changing flats often.
I never run any tyres heavier than 900g on my Emtb and do ride rooty, rocky, technical DH and Enduro trails.
Light casings simply need higher pressures to ward off punctures.

Yeah? Awesome!
You do realise the OP specifically asked how to improve his bikes sluggish handling and improve it's rolling speed.
I do now , has he tried locking out his suspension and putting slicks on it 😂

Locking out the suspension on a heavy Emtb would actually reduce it's maneuverability and nimbility quite drastically. Simply running stiff suspension settings would be the one rather than locking it out
A narrower (2.3) lightweight semi slick rear tyre run at a decent pressure massively improves responsiveness to acceleration and directional change. Emtb or normal mtb

The classification/category of the bike doesn't change.
even if you don't ever ride it at all ;)

As I’ve said before “Berkshire’s most popular canal bike is a kenevo expert“ !

That might be slightly exaggerated ☺️

pics or you’re full of it!!!
Just to be clear, wife not you or any member closely related to zimmerframe

Undeniably difficult to compete with zimmerframe or most of the wives that appear on this forum but I am very pleased to say, not only does she look great off the trail, but ON the trail too :). The rock slab at the 4:10 mark is pretty steep but she handled it "like a Boss". Not to get your hopes up, but that is NOT her in the preview...
