Chainring size and updating STunlocker

If I change the chainring from 34 to 36, do I need to update the setting in STUnlocker and if so why? Is it something to do with the torque sensor?

No . Just leave it. There's quite a few threads on it, but it was there originally just because it was a field which was possible to change.

In the early days, changing it caused problems, I think they've been fixed now.

But normally, just leave that one.

It was probably put in there originally by Shimano for the possibility of adjusting speeds of walk mode with di2.
