CEF50 vs CEF55 with coil shock

Hello,

considering the current completely DJI-Hyped market, I am looking for an alternative lower power-light frame at a decent price point.
CEF50 and CEF55 look to be great candidates coupled with the Bafang M820 and a smaller battery.

But I am a "coil shock guy".

Do you run any of the frames with a coil shock? Did any of you tried to check which frame would work better with a coil shock?

The original CEF50 did not have enough clearance for a coil. There are second and third versions of the frame now that handle a coil but the original batch did not. The CEF55 is a different suspension design so it would not be a direct comparision.

I will try to check on software at least how much progressive is the link (I believe it is pretty linear but worth to check).

Found a bit of a time and finished up my CEF50 frame. Long story short:
-FORK: 170MM BOMBER Z1 COIL
-SHOCK: BOMBER CR + COIL SPRING
-BATTERY: 12S4P @ SAMSUNG 53G 2170, JBD BMS
-WHEELS: SYNCHROS
-BRAKES: IIIPRO4
-DRIVETRAIN: SLX + 38T CHAINRING
-REST: AS YOU CAN SEE
-WEIGHT: 21.75KG
-HEAD ANGLE: 63.5DEG

Overall happy with the build. After I have dismantled the frame for painting, found that some aluminum spacer washers were damaged due to parts were hammered in during assembly before. Had to take off a bit of the original paint to make a bit more clearance to make life a bit easier...
