Towing a trailer with an E bike. Anybody have any ideas on making or modifying a childs trailer to carry wood, mainly tree branches collecting for a wood burner. I hope to tow it around the forestry tracks collecting wood. Open to ideas. Cheers.

Hi Landy Andy, just googled Burley trailers. Wow they are a bit pricey, what do you carry on yours and do you use it offroad on forestry tracks ?

Ha ha spoilt rotten by the looks of it. I ll keep a look out for a second hand version.

Before buying this one I was given a child trailer version so I could see if the dog was happy being towed. It was the cheaper style, probably steel frame, and you REALLY knew you were towing that. They appear to have price bracket, high, and low, with nothing between. Keep an eye on second hand ones.
I got mine as we have motorhome and go out on bikes where it’s too hot for dog to run alongside, and often road stuff.

I use a burley coho single wheel trailer on forestry tracks and fire roads. Nice low centre of gravity. Takes all my camping gear.
