Canyon Strive:ON CFR - snapped rear triangle

It was a bit of a bummer today as I just snapped the rear triangle on my Strive:ON CFR.
Has anyone had a similar issue? I'm wondering if Canyon will cover that under warranty

PS. The shock is the same spec as OEM (230x65), just a Factory version of X2.

Wow, I can't imagine the sound that would have made. Hopefully didn't affect the frame alignment of front tri or chain stay. With canyon's batt and latch issues, hopefully they'll still take care of you.

Hard to say if top tube looks like crack or wrap. Looks like crack on second pics, possibly cracks on first one.

If these are cracks, well not sure Canyon will give you anything else than the crash replacement offer as it would look like a clear case/bottom out/butt crashing the frame.

Didn't notice any. There is PPF on the frame and it's not perfect as I did it myself.

Landing some drop

I contacted Canyon and they honored the warranty claim. I'm waiting for a new frame to be shipped to a local bike shop for frame swap.

Does anyone here own a Canyon Strive:ON — any version?

I’m considering buying this bike, but from what I’ve read, it has two major issues.

The first one is the battery locking mechanism — has that been fixed already?

And the second, probably the most important, is that I’ve heard the frames on this model crack a lot — has anyone encountered that?

I would really appreciate any information on this.

Another thing — how does Canyon handle these issues, and how long does the frame replacement process take, for example?
