Can you change Rohloff E14 speed hub to manual shifting?

I’m having a lot of niggles with the shifting on my Rohloff E14 speed hub, and I’m wondering if I can covert to manual shifting which I’m told is much more reliable.

Sin problemas, pero tendrás mucho trabajo por delante... además del paso de los cables desde el manillar hasta el buje...
He llevado el mismo buje Rohloff durante casi 10 años en dos Specialized distintas, una gen1 y una gen3... ahora la potencia de mi Bafang 560 me ha hecho tener que dejar de usarlo
