Can someone point me to the tread on swapping E-7000 for E-8000?

I did it. I got an 8000 as warranty for my 7000. Just put it on and good to go. It did need programming.

Great deal ! was this through your bike warranty or did shimano do it directly? I've been reading this is a common thing now them swapping them out for warranty replacement.
