Any small hand held bypass style will work for both the steel cable, and the housing. Don't use a dyke style, make sure it is a bypass type. I'd see what Amazon can get to you.

I've had a pair of these for 5 years still cutting perfectly

Knipex.

If knipex make any version of a tool I need, I've learned that I should always go knipex. Expensive, but worth it.

The Knipex catalog is ten times worse than the best bike parts catalog you can imagine. I can't go through the Knipex catalog without finding something that I ABSOLUTELY MUST have. I imagine it's similar to chicks and shoe stores.

I've had a pair of those for years, mine are black though. Still sharp, still cutting clean. Even after cutting through over a dozen coil springs when I was chucking out a double bed a few weeks ago.
Yeah, you really can't go wrong for the price - Felco knockoffs (identical to the C7)
