Bike industry is very frustrating

No I would like an avinox but there is nothing available in the United states. If you are lucky to find one it is still a month or two to get one. End of July maybe September which in my state you might get maybe 2 months of riding. It just has been a very frustrating experience. Amflow annouced begining of April still not one amflow in the US. There is multiple brands that say there coming but still a month of 2 before launch. The only real thing in my price range is levo and I am not sold on that bike.
I have a Amflow PL Carbon Pro for sale in the US if interested I can put a post up here.

Considering the lack of supply; a fair price is at least MSRP. I can see a "market adjustment" or "dealer markup" being justified just like is commonplace in the automotive industry when demand exceeds supply. I'd at least reprimand (in not outright terminate) a salesperson of mine who discounted a hot product with questionable resupply. Such a move is a solid indication the person is a bad salesperson. A good salesperson would sell the product in the barn at retail, and perhaps offer a discount to wait for a future shipment.

He'll help him out a bit, but certainly less on an Avi than a Gen5. That said, he operates on low margins and tries to be the go-to to those of us that have to buy a bike every year or so.

I bought my first emtb at 2021, covid times so everything sold out, ordered Orbea Wild but it was delayed so much so I canceled it and bought Gen2 Levo from local shop. Way out of budget full price and just before they launched gen3. But it was great decision, I had so much fun with it and Specialized had great customer service. Next bike two years ago, wanted more modern geometry and Levo’s had shit spec for the price, didn’t want Bosch but Shimano. Ended up with two choices: heavily discounted Pivot LT and Bullit, went with Bullit because it was cheaper. Best bike I have ever owned. Shimano motor is still great. Santa Cruz customer support is great. Bought another bike year ago, Specialized Levo gen3. Heavily discounted. Better geo than previous, decent spec and mastermind. So I have two emtb’s, both with stone age motors but they are still great motors and excellent bikes. Gen2 motor was replaced and battery died right after I sold it, Bullit has motor and battery replaced. I have also commuter with Bosch CX4 with third motor now. So my advice is buy something what you can get now, don’t wait, there’s also something new around the corner. And buy locally with good support 😀
