My Rail 7 Gen 2 (1100 miles, 2 years old) battery seems to not be holding a charge as well as it did. Any input on quantitatively checking it out?
If a new battery is needed, is there a less expensive aftermarket option?
Any input appreciated.
THANKS!

Just a bit more info... on my last ride, I started with a full batt charge. Rode 28 miles, 2 hours and 20 mins. All in "Tour" mode. At end of the ride, had 2 dots (of 5) left. I guess that means it used somewhere between 60% and 80% of the battery charge.
I know this is not much to go on, but any comments would be appreciated.
THANKS! Andrew Cooksey

It seems too soon to be be concerned. You now have a benchmark ride. write down the details and repeat the ride now and again, to see if there is a trend, or not. Yiu may have a had a wind in your face, tyre pressures down, softer ground than usual......

Awesome. Thanks man. will do.

Is there an app associated with this? On my wife's Giant, 2 out of 5 dots would mean 40% up to 59% remaining, but the app will give me/her an exact number, such as 42%.
Establish that as a benchmark, rather than a range of 19%.
Ride the same trails for a while trying to approximate the effort level and go from there.
