Battery extender with fidlock uni?

Did anyone try to mount range extender with the Fidlock Uni mount? I'm wondering whether it will be able to hold the battery securely enough and withstand the impacts.

Did anyone try to mount range extender with the Fidlock Uni mount? I'm wondering whether it will be able to hold the battery securely enough and withstand the impacts.

I use a FidLock Uni/boa mount on a soft shell case with my range extender in it, whilst I don’t ride bike parks it’s never fallen off in the near 5 years I’ve been using it, including some rattly downhills.

I’ve got it on a recent hardtail build now, still does a good job. The uni/boa wires bite into the soft shell case really well, and it doesn’t move. If you’re extender is a hard plastic bottle type battery, maybe some self amalgamating rubber tape wrapped around it where the wires will grip will stop it sliding/moving?

Thanks a lot! That's great to hear because I hate the Orbea bottle cage that comes with the extender.
