Seen as there is an issue with the clamp breaking if overtightened or not fitted with care does anyone have one fitted to 35mm bars without any problems - does the clamp fit well or does it need to be bent to accommodate the extra width?

My solution, 35 mm doesn’t fit…

Hi
Can't find the 3D file for a 35mm handlbar

I had the same issue with different display and here's how I solved it.

Basically I modified this thing I found on Amazon: Spacer Mount

Unscrew the plastic element in the Spacer Mount and discard it. There are "horizontal" screw holes under the plastic. I used those with the stock screws. I bent and drilled a brass strip into the shape depicted. I cut the "toothed" cylinders off the stock plastic brackets and used them as standoffs between the display and the brass piece.

It's tight. Does not move at all. Perfect angle and is adjustable.

Here's the whole bike for reference.

Did you machine this yourself or just retrofit something else? I just changed to 35mm bars and have no way to mount the display... I also don't have access to a 3d printer for the other solutions
