The frame should be shipped next week, in the meantime I am organizing to purchase the parts needed to complete the bike. So I need your help with some pointers. The first is the choice of display, I heard Victory Tech. and they told me that I can choose between the two displays DPC230 and DZ41, which one you recommend. The DZ41 certainly looks more aesthetically pleasing to me, but does it have the same functionality as the DPC?

I have the DPC230, which is easier to read than the previous DPC241. If I could choose, I’d get the DPC231 which has Bluetooth just in case Bafang update their Bafang Go app. to enable setting motor parameters. Hopefully that makes sense.

These displays shows exactly how out of touch Bafang are in the screen designs.
Either too big, too small, tiny information icons, or not accounting for different bar sizes. No tune ability in icon location.

Yes. DCP241 was included in the kit from Dengfu supplied June 2021.

Thanks. I have 2 cables, one from the display and one from the controller going into one cable but it’s a sealed coupler so would have to go all the way back to the motor which is what I thought you would have had to do.

I wanted to connect the throttle stick to the M500 engine, but it didn't work when I tried it with the DZ41 display. So I tried the C18 display and with that the throttle was functional.

I did get a dz41 and it worked ok with the thumb throttle but I have kept it as a spare and went back to the dpc240 as it was more robust although there are 2 components to it

Vikino, doesnt matter what display u have, throttle functionality does not have anything with display.
